Each ISIS 5000 Storage Engine houses sixteen 2 TB disk drives arrayed in three 4+1 RAID5 sets plus a hot spare drive. The ISIS 5000 Engine houses an ISIS System Director CPU that performs system metadata management .The System Director is protected with mirrored, field-replaceable system drives and if needed, operation can easily shift to the System Director in a different Engine. Depending on the model, four 1Gbit Ethernet ports or a 10Gbit Ethernet port provide connectivity to one or two external switches, or directly connect to four 1Gbit clients. How to set the timecode generator

TC MENU

Set TC generator as required. TCG MODE = PRESET RUN MODE = FREE or REC

Using number pad enter the start timecode.

Press SET. Press F3 (TIMER SET).

Press INPUT CHECK button to confirm correct setting. TCR will change to TCG

To Pre-set Time code

1. Chech Menu Item 504 RUN MODE is set to REC RUN
2. Set the INT TCG INT switch to , PRESET mode
3. Press the TC PRESET button to access the Pre set Time code menu
4. Using the Joystick vertically to increment or decrement the numeric value and the horizontal motion to change the value to be set.
5. When the desired start time is achieved press the TC PRESET
6. Confirm the start time by pressing the red REC button.

To change the frame rate:

1. The System Frequency can be changed using item 25 in the System menu.
2. From the Basic Menu:
3. Item 020 selects the HD Sys format 720p or 1080i (this option is dependant on item 20 setting from the basic menu)
4. Item 022 selects the playback format either Manual or Auto
5. Item 023 Format Sel,selects the manual playback format HD_LP,HD_SP,422,411,DV or DVCAM.
6. Item 030 selects the HD Frequency, 59/23 (drop frame) or 60/24 Non drop frame

Item 005 Selects the Super impose time code CMPST sets the composite superimpose on.
